For chapter 2, I then created a new composition. After
following the tutorial I realized that due to being on an older version of
Adobe After Effects I didn’t have the Raytrace 3D Rendering Plug in like in the
tutorial provide, so once again I was
unable to complete that part of the exercise provided.
I imported Illustrator file as a composition within After Effects.
Sometimes with after effects you use multiple graphics and the composition can get confusing and so as an example of knowing how to work within afyer effects you use the reveal in project option on a layer and a reveal in finder as well as a replace file and a reload the footage option.
Sometimes to make projects more organised, the use of pre
comping comes in handy. I experimented with that as well which helped my project run very smoothly.
When you double clock on a pre comp, it opens up in a new
composition window. This is where you can make changes to the files within the pre comp.
