Today, we were asked to record sounds using a portable sound recorder to capture environmental and ambient sounds. To start of with I didn't see the point, but actually going out and trying to find the right sounds without any unwanted noise is very difficult in a busy town.
I decided to use one of my favorite spots which is the fountain courtyard outside the Bush Hotel. I decided to use this spot because we had listened to many audio examples based around water and I thought this would add a lovely sound of trickling water into my piece.
